KENTUCKY SELECTS THE MTRAM SUITE

MTRAM continues its expansion across the U.S. thanks to our parent company Clever Devices. TANK, the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky, will leverage various modules of the MTRAM Suite including MTRAM Planning, MTRAM Scheduling, and MTRAM Rostering to plan, schedule and ultimately optimize their timetables, vehicle and driver schedules, driver assignment, and bidding.

The Annual Conference of the Italian Operations Research Society conference will address all areas of Operations Research, focusing on optimization models and algorithms concerning energy, environment, and sustainability.

Excellent results obtained by MAIOR at the UITP World Congress and Exhibition 2015 held in Milan on 8, 9 and 10 June. The MAIOR booth was visited by delegations coming from several countries, among the others, Israel, Greece, Poland, England, Serbia, Spain, Germany, Russia, America and of course Italy. This confirms the market’s interest in MTRAM, one of the most advanced software suite for public transport management and optimization. The Finnish cities of Lahti and Jyväskylä have chosen MTRAM for the planning and scheduling of public transportation services and for issuing printed timetables.

The projects, that include the supply of MTRAM Planning, MTRAM Scheduling and MTRAM Information, have been successfully deployed in less than 3 months. These projects are part of a significant renovation for the Finnish public transportation, where municipalities are taking a more active role in managing private contractors.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION DMS IN IRELAND

MAIOR has been recently awarded for a contract to supply a new Data Management System (DMS) for the National Transport Authority of Ireland (NTA).

The solution will be based on a central data repository that will collect and integrate the service planning and AVM data of the public transport of buses and rail operators in Dublin. The Business Intelligence solution will facilitate the monitoring and regulate the performance of bus services operated under public service contracts in Ireland through reports and costing tools to improve the service quality.

CYCLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2013 IN FLORENCE

At the first Cycling World Championship in Florence, the three main public transit operators, ATAF, BusItalia Sita Nord, and Li-nea, completely rescheduled their services with MTRAM. They could easily manage detours, new schedules, and new rosters to satisfy the new mobility demand during the event.

ATAF declares that with MTRAM they have rescheduled about 4.700 driver duties and 2.100 vehicle blocks and managed 2.890 runs more than in standard service.
